(Originally posted December 29, 2008) Click on this link: SQUIRRELS + COFFEE. There are several Web sites that have "lolcat" pictures (for more on this phenomenon, see Lolcat - Wikipedia.) Some of these sites include the pseudo-posters of the kind linked at the beginning of this article. "Squirrels and Coffee, God Help Us" is a truly wonderful example of humor - surprising, (mostly) harmless, and poetic in that it unifies our experiences. With humor like this, human beings are saved - as for squirrels, they must feel demeaned. |
